Talking about conversion rates often is confusing and uses the same imagery over and over. I wanted to represent conversion marketing in an abstract way that communicates someone moving through steps of a process with the final goal of conversion.
Exploring how simple, strong shapes and negative space could be used on signage throughout the conference center.
A website concept. Many elements were taken from this and used in a simplified version that is now live.
A little bit about Converted
2017 was the third year of Leadpages' marketing conference, Converted. Converted's focus was on campaigns that convert with talks centered on real results and done-for-you campaigns.
The branding exploration shown above led to the actual visual direction of the conference. The shapes are all simple at heart, but they have been transformed to feel confident, powerful, and influential. They are shapes easy enough for anyone to draw and recognize and yet carry strong weight and momentum that 2-dimensional shapes could not accomplish. Converted’s graphics take simple shapes and transform them into compelling graphics, just as Converted encourages attendees to take basic principles and transform their businesses with them.
Thanks to Brenden Greenwood, Joshua Brand, and Greg Howell for collaboration on the graphics above.
